Ms. Laura Lee Sorsby is the founder of Can Am International LLC, a private financial consulting and investment firm, located at 3030 LBJ Freeway, Suite 700, Dallas, Texas.   Ms. Sorsby's expertise includes the creation of databases of infrastructure funding sources for developing nations.  Ms. Sorsby sourced and secured private owned commodities for purchase and sales to both private and government clients. These commodities include the purchase and sale of oil and gas, gold (AU), machinery,  and other commodities worldwide.   Ms. Sorsby established a client base of government and international buyers.

With this knowledge she created an international market for the sales and service of American manufactured products, commodities, and engineering services.  Ms. Sorsby lobbied for and secured engineering, procurement, and construction contracts for American companies with several foreign government state-owned companies.  Ms. Sorsby raised finance for large infrastructure projects.  She has served as the financial consultant and mandate for Royal Families in Malaysia and Kuwait, served as financial consultant for two foreign governments, served as Consultant for the 10th largest Private Investment Banking Firm in the United States.  She served as an AGENT for a refinery in San Antonio, Texas, presently selling jet fuel contracts to the US Military.  Ms. Sorsby received an invitation to serve as an advisor to the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C.  She was presented the key to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, by the former Mayor of Fort Worth, Texas, Honorable Mayor Bolen, in 1989.   Ms. Sorsby also served as a foreign exchange currency trader for Frankwell Investments Inc., formally located in the World Trade Center in New York, New York.  She gained vast experience in the FOREX "spot" trading market.  Ms. Sorsby traded currency contracts in the "FOREX" foreign exchange market for her esteemed clients.

Ms. Sorsby and Can Am International, have a joint venture with a private banking consortium located in Melbourne, Australia.  Through this partnership, Ms. Sorsby offers both creative and conventional finance to its qualified Clients.   She has partners in Malaysia, Turkey, Middle East, Hong Kong, Australia, and Russia. 

Ms. Sorsby successfully negotiated joint ventures with foreign governments and private companies. She has lobbied successfully for project awards around the world.   Can Am offers finance through private placement investment programs, as well as private venture capital funding through private investors.  Can Am works with a private foundation in Hong Kong that manages a fund that will underwrite certain projects for qualified clients.   Ms. Sorsby  is a member of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce, The Texarkana, Texas , Chamber of Commerce, and has attended conventions to include but not limited to Global Friendship Forum, Trinidad and Tobago and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation ( OPIC) , Houston, Texas.  Ms. Sorsby has dedicated her time to organizations which include United States Veterans of WWI, WWII, and Viet Nam, and the March of Dimes.

Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences from UK. He has operated in healthcare industry during 1967-1991 in UAE and other Gulf states providing turn-key projects and supplying medical equipments to hospitals and he represented 25+ pharmaceutical companies. He initiated the plans in 1984 and opened up the first private hospital, the International Hospital Istanbul, in 1989, which was considered "The center of Excellence." He is a member of and has been awarded with Who's Who Professional honorary award in 1999. He has been the pioneer to bring Modern diagnostic and treatments to Turkey.

He speaks Turkish, Arabic and English. He continues his business in Turkey in health care, tourism, education and information technology. Dr. Said brings selected projects from Middle East and North African Countries to CanAm.

His awards and Certificates of Appreciation include former US presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton, as well as many other foreign statesmen, for his contribution in outstanding medical support provided during their visits to Turkey.

Mr. Kennedy has over 20 years experience in all areas of Real Estate Development from property identification, acquisition, finance, evaluation and entitlement of residential and commercial development opportunities throughout the United States.

During his tenure in the industry, Mr. Kennedy has specialized in residential and commercial land sales and development and has overseen all aspects of the family real estate business for 10 years in the role of Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Kennedy has also given his time to philanthropic charities such as March of Dimes and Georgia Transplant Foundation.

Jale Sözer Oran graduated from Bromfield High School in Harvard, Massachusetts. She got her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bogaziçi University (former Robert Academy) in Istanbul. She holds Ph.D. in Finance from Marmara University, in which she is currently teaching finance couses at undergraduate and graduate levels as associate professor. She is frequently invited by the private universities as guest professor. She is teaching at Yeditepe University since its foundation. She actively took part in establishment of MBA programme and Vocational Schools of the same university. She also taught finance courses at Sabanci, Bahçesehir, and Dogus Universities.

Ms. Oran also has two books, in behavioral finance and auctions, and papers presented in international conferences and published in journals concerning behavioral and corporate finance. She has "Credit Rating" and "Corporate Governance Rating" licenses from SPK (Turkish counterpart for SEC) and is sworn expert for financial disputes in Turkish courts.

She also worked as free lance expert or consultant in Turkish companies. She prepared feasibility and valuation reports and gave consultancy regarding financial matters like working capital management, financial sustainability, investments and growth. She valued two companies over one billion dollars as sworn expert on behalf of Turkish courts.

Mr. Dogan Cansizlar obtained his Bachelors Degree (BA) in Economics and Finance from the Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara University / Turkey (1977), his Master of Science Degree (Msc) in Economic Policy and Planning from the Faculty of Economics Northeastern University Boston / USA (1989) and Doctorate degree (PhD) in Public Finance from the Faculty of Economics Istanbul University / Turkey (2000). He was also awarded the Associate Professorship in Public Finance by the Higher Education Council of Turkey (2005), and he became Professor in Public Finance in 2011.

He was employed as the Inspector of Finance at the Ministry of Finance (1978-1989), Deputy General Director of Social Security Institution at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (1989-1991), Head of Department (1991-1995) and Deputy Director General (1996-1997) of the General Directorate of Budget and Financial Control and the General Director of National Property (1997-2000) at the Ministry of Finance, and Chairman of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey, Prime Ministry (November 2000-2006).

He worked as the Project Director in Public Financial Management Project financed by the World Bank (1993-1997) and was elected as the Chairman of the Emerging Markets Committee (EMC) of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) twice for two terms (2002–2006).

Since 1996, he has been lecturing both at the undergraduate and at postgraduate levels at prestigious universities in the subjects of Public Finance, Fiscal Analysis, Money and Banking, Investment Banking and Venture Capital, Capital Markets, Business Finance, International Finance and Financial Markets and Instituitions. He lectured at Istanbul Bilgi University between 2007–2011. Since October 2011 he has been lecturing at Atilim University in Ankara.

He is a Chartered Accountant and has licences for all Capital Markets Operations.

He is married and has one child. He is fluent in both English and German.

As an owner, developer, and broker of commercial real estate for over 40 years, Mr. Kennedy has been involved in the acquisition and development of real estate projects throughout the United States. His primary focus has been on retail sites, mixed use development, hospitality, apartments, including student housing projects. His extensive knowledge of real estate is the key to taking a project from inception to completion.

During his extensive tenure in the industry, Marty has been involved in many notable projects and has given of his time to philanthropic charities such as American Heart Association and March of Dimes.
